Sunday Worship

Sunday Worship

We are an extended spiritual family on mission who gathers together every Sunday morning to worship God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, before we scatter together in our homes throughout the week in our missional communities.

When you walk in to Oikos, feel free to grab a cup of coffee and a pastry and make yourself at home at Holy Grounds before the gathering begins. (We are thankful for Three Brothers Bakery on Washington Ave. who graciously donate bread and pastries every Sunday).

Our spiritual family is a mix of all ages; from young families to young singles, and veteran parents to elderly veterans. We desire to be a church that looks as close to heaven as we can get, which means we value being a diverse and beautiful family. Because we live as spiritual family, we value all generations gathering together in the same place.

Have kids? Please worship with them. There is such great value to worshiping together so that they can learn from you what it looks like to be a passionate and engaged worshiper. During the message, we do have Covenant & Kingdom (C&K) Kids, which is an opportunity during the worship gathering for all kids (toddler - high school) to participate in an interactive and age-appropriate discipleship experience led by Sara Lytle and her team. We incorporate the older kids and teens as leaders for the young ones.

Our worshiping culture is best described as a big family gathering where we get to connect with our entire Oikos family in order to celebrate God for who He is, what He has done for us, in us, and through us. It's a relaxed environment with passionate worship and prayer, radical community, and current music.

Come as you are, but expect to leave transformed.
